So Thursday April 18, 2024 we lost my mother. My brother made a post and I think he said it better than I ever could. I wish to thank everyone for their well wishes. I've copied my brothers post below. All I have to add is that I loved my parents very much. We fought, we laughed, we cried, and we had fun but they taught me to do it as a family. I wouldn't be the man I am today without those two guiding me through everything I've gone through,

We lost my Mom last night! She passed comfortably in her sleep and that was no easy task! She was everything a mom should be and will be missed dearly! I need to thank some people who helped us and guided us through this horrible process! First and foremost my Sister Allison Davis-Palmquist and her wonderful family! Allison who has taken care of mom and dad her whole life! She knows no other life and this is devastating for her! Her husband Jimmy Palmquist who has done the same for 24 years! Her beautiful kids James and Madisson who I saw my mom and dad in them as soon as I got out here. Dad was already gone but I saw him in all of them and that was really cool! My brother Scott Davis who dropped everything in a moment and drove 17 hours straight to be here when I needed him! Thanks Scott! My aunt Edie who has been my mom's friend calling her multiple times every day! And was also there for me the last two months! Thank you Aunt Edie! Also my friends and Eastern family that have posted comments and prayers! Thank you all I don't need to name all the names you all know who you are! Thanks! Now I need to thank some of the people who helped us through the last 2 months! I was not aware of all the the end of life decisions that have to be made with thought and these decisions are hard decisions! With Allison and Jimmy providing Home hospice for my father we thought we had this but my mom being my mom made this a very different situation. And that brings me to the last 2 months! I want to thank her wonderful caregiver Lyn Capili who my mom latched on to as soon as she got there. Lyn who became my mom's best friend and partner in crime also helped me with knowing what I needed to know! Thank you Lyn for being there for her! You will always be a part of our family now! I have already been teaching her how to be stubborn so she can fun in! Last but not least I need to thank Lyn's friends at Prime Hospice Care! Dirk, Kevin, and Dirks dad who I will not try to spell his name! They absolutely stepped in when I needed them most and made a huge difference! They are a new company but all these guys have been doing this a long time and really know there business! They are the reason she passed comfortably in her sleep and we all thank you guys for that! You guys are awesome! Will miss her a lot! Thanks everyone!
